Learning Styles

Humans are wired to learn visually, auditorily, and kinesthetically. The strength of each process is different for each person. ⁣⁣

As you begin homeschooling and making curriculum choices and plans it can be helpful to reflect on your student(s) and which style he or she learns best from. A student can achieve more when they are taught through their strongest pathway to the brain. ⁣⁣

You don’t need to unduly stress, however, because the great news is that when students are taught using all three learning styles—the seeing, hearing, and doing—they learn even MORE than when they are taught only through their strongest pathway! ⁣⁣

This means you don’t have to feel pigeonholed into any one style. Mix things up and have fun and watch your child thrive!
